    Contract length and upfront costs

    All our products are available on simple, fixed, 24 month contracts and they all include a fair, low cost cancellation policy as standard. At contract end you will either revert to our standard out-of-contract pricing or you can walk away. That’s it, no questions asked, no excessive financial penalties.

    The only upfront cost is the cost of a pre-configured, compatible router should you decide to sign up to our ADSL, Fibre or Superfast broadband deals.

    Do I keep the same phone number?

    When you switch your phone line to us from another provider, you can keep your existing phone number provided that you still reside at the same address.

    How long does it take to switch?

    Our switching process is fast and easy with no loss of service. Typically the whole process is completed within 15 days.

    What is the level of support?

    All our product offers include basic technical support as standard. For additional peace of mind and security, service level upgrades are available on request.

    What equipment do I need?

    If you already have a landline then no additional equipment is needed. Just continue to use your existing home phone as you did before.

    NB. If a line installation is required then there is a flat one-off charge of £49.

    What is a call plan?

    Our call plans give you access to substantially reduced call charges for UK local, national numbers and to mobiles, for a fixed monthly fee.

    How much can I save?

    Savings vary depending on whether your call is local, national or to a mobile phone but if you make more than two to three, 3 minute calls from your landline per day then you are guaranteed to save money with our call plan. We also cap our call charges which means that you only get charged for the first 3 minutes of any local, national or mobile call.

    NOTE: Our call plans exclude calls to non geographic and premium rate numbers.

    ADSL*

    ADSL is the simplest and cheapest form of broadband. Based on your existing copper phone line. Average download speeds are around 14.7Mbit/s**.
    Suitable for simple Internet browsing, checking your email, online chat, social media. Less suitable for streaming videos and other rich media content.

    FIBRE*

    This connection utilises a fibre optic cable to your local telephone cabinet (a large green box with double doors, found on the pavement usually within 200 metres of your property) and then a copper cable to your home. The speeds available are much faster than an ADSL connection and depend largely on the distance between the local telephone cabinet and your home. Speed is up to 38Mbit/s**.
    Suitable if you want to stream rich media content/video or if you want to use multiple devices such as Apple iPhone, iPad, Android or Windows phones or other devices on the same network. Also suitable for easily accessing your files on cloud storage services.

    SUPERFAST FIBRE*

    The fastest broadband connection that we offer. For a small extra monthly fee you can receive the maximum bandwidth available in your area. Speed is up to 76Mbit/s**.
    Suitable if you need to manage significant amounts of data, multiple social media accounts, HD content or use the same wifi connection for multiple devices with negligible loss of connection speed or reliability. It offers the ultimate in wireless connectivity.

    A SIM only contract means that we supply only the SIM card for use in a mobile telephone / smartphone that you already own or need to purchase yourself. You can also use our SIMs in tablet devices. Many telecoms providers will spread the cost of a new phone across the term of your contract, including a markup.

    This can potentially make your monthly bill fairly expensive!
